Minus 6 degrees fahrenheit at daybreak. Blinding light and freezing cold made for a brisk, brief walk through the garden at dawn. This season can be such a cruel beauty. Still, drenched in sunlight —swirling particles turning to gold dust in winter wind— the garden is a constant source of inspiration.
