    This is weird. I feel so much motion in this piece. Like the form on the left side, the reddish/pink/green leans into what’s coming at it and spins into it, head on. The colors are so warm and soft that it doesn’t feel like a menacing confrontation. It’s more like a meeting.

    Very cool.

    I post photos of the thirty-in-thirty pieces on Instagram as well as my Facebook page (you can see it, because it’s public), and there’s a comment there about the watery-ness of the movement. That makes complete sense to me both from an internal perspective and an external reality. Wild weather swings and a few mood swings going on here. I’m tempted to do an entire series of frost pieces, but currently I am out of panels and need to cut and gesso more. If I do that, it will have to wait until February.
