My love of the Brook Trout is deeply connected to childhood memory. Small streams run through woodland dreams. Flashes of silvery light. Mucky banks and high, black boots. The smell of leaf mold and damp earth. Stepping on my father’s shadow and the warmth of sunlight on my face.
