Trying to photograph a wet oil painting with a cell phone camera is a little challenging. What I notice most —on the screen— is that the white detail is lost or blown-out. The images I post online never truly capture the color or texture of my work and this frustrates me when I let it.
On the other hand …It’s fantastic when the work surpasses an online-fan’s expectations when seen for the first time, in person.
