Slatted Wood, 2016, Michaela Harlow – Oil/Graphite/Polychromos Pencils on 24″ x 12″ Wood Panel
The temperature plummeted last night and bitter wind slapped my face as I stepped outside the door this morning. This is going to be a busy week and somehow, I appreciate the wake up call.
I spent Friday morning over in Keene, New Hampshire, documenting recent work with photographer Al Karevy. Most of the images I post here are taken with my iPhone and, although fairly accurate color-wise, they aren’t intended for archival purposes. As painters go, I’m fairly prolific and it’s been awhile since I’ve connected with a local photographer to document my work. I really enjoyed working with Al, and thanks to him, discovered Odelay and some of the best fish tacos I’ve tasted this side of the border. There’s no plan for a tropical vacation in my immediate future, but won’t need to travel very far to get my sea-side taco fix.
